Decent resin, slower shipping

I ordered some Liquid Art Ultra UV and a few mixing cups. The resin itself is really good, easy to work with and minimal bubbles. I was happy with the quality for my tumbler making. My only minor complaint was that shipping took about 6 days to get to me in Texas, which felt a little slow compared to other craft suppliers. The price was fair for the quality though.

Is KS Resin heat resistant enough for like, making coasters or hot pads? Or will a hot mug leave a mark?

Most epoxy resins have some heat resistance, but for really hot items like fresh coffee mugs, you might still get a faint ring with direct contact. It's more about resisting incidental heat, not direct, prolonged high heat.

It's decent, but I wouldn't put a super hot pan straight from the stove on it. For coasters, a warm mug should be fine, but extreme heat can still be an issue over time. It's not like a trivet.

Yeah, they ship to Canada for sure. I ordered some Liquid Art a few months back. Took about a week and a half to get to me in Toronto, so not super fast but not terrible.

You might be able to if you catch them quick enough. I once emailed them right after ordering because I forgot something, and they were able to add it before it shipped. But if it's already processed, probably not.

Their returns are pretty straightforward from what I hear. If it's damaged during shipping, they'll usually sort it out. Just make sure you contact them pretty quickly after it arrives.

For tumblers, definitely go with their Liquid Art Ultra UV or just Liquid Art. The Ultra UV is great for preventing yellowing from sunlight. A small kit should be plenty to get you going, like a 16oz or 32oz kit.

Liquid Art is the standard for tumblers. You don't need a ton to start, maybe a quart size kit to get a feel for it. Also, grab some mica powders and glitters, they're super fun to play with.
